Firemaker Posted February 27, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2009 Does anyone know if the Star has a Mystery Dinner and, if so, do you have any details? (Where is it held, how long, etc...) We've never been to one, but it sounds interesting!:)
pfanny37 Posted February 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2009 The answers I got on this message board about the mystery dinner were these: Watch the Dailies for when it is because there doesn't seem to be a set night. There is no charge, you just sign up and are put with about 7 people in the main dining hall with scripts to act it out. Hope this helps a little. Firemaker Posted February 28, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted February 28, 2009 Thanks for the info, we'll check out the Dailies and try it out!
Rickdabear Posted February 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 28, 2009 I've attended several of these. They are a ball. They take place during a dinner that your group all sits at the same table and you play between courses. Definately a doable thing. suzyed Posted February 28, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 28, 2009 We did it last year on the Star! Look for the time and place in the Daily. You all meet up in one spot (we met in the theater) and they group you with about 7 others. Then you are each given a part and a script to go with the part. You go to dinner in one of the MDR's and during dinner is where you "act" out your parts. At the end of the script/dinner, everyone tries to guess who the murderer is! ;) There is no charge for the Murder Mystery Dinner and it's a great way to meet some of the other great folks on you cruise! :D Here is a picture of our group! Have a great time!
