Piers in San Juan

How many piers are there in San Juan? I cannot remember the name of the pier we left from on the cruise we took a few years ago. This time, I was just notified by our TA that we will leave from the Pan American pier. Does it have a duty free liquor shop there?

Thanks!

2 piers that Princess uses in SJ.

Pan American and Old San Juan downtown.

We have quite a number of piers in OSJ harbor.

For departure/arrivals, the most common ones that are used are the Pan American Pier ("across the bay", 2 berths; usually - but not exclusively - Royal Caribbean) and Pier 4 ("downtown" Old San Juan also with 2 berths; usually Carnival brands). Rarely, the Navy Frontier Pier will be used as well if space is needed for a 5th or 6th large ship. Small cruise ships (Sea Dream Yacht Club, etc) usually get berthing in Pier 1 which is even better than Piers 3&4.

For ships just calling on San Juan, those ships have a tendency to dock at Piers 3 and 4.
