Zip Line and cave tubing with Royal Caribbean

Our group is thinking of doing the Airal Trek and Cave tubing with Royal Caribbean. This takes place at Jungle Paw Resort. Has anyone else done this excursion. What did you think?

We can book this with Major Tom, but, are concerned about making it back on time and missing the last tender. Advice please!

I've never seen anyone post that they missed the last tender. Major Tom advertises that they have never missed the last tender: http://www.****************/Cave-tubing-FAQ.aspx?#tender

I just got back from zip lining with Major Tom. I posted a more complete review on another thread, but in a nutshell, we had a great experience and great time. We had no worries about getting back to the ship on time. We had plenty of time to shop around, and we did zip lining, cave tubing, and lunch. He runs a first-class tour in my opinion.

We are just back from the IOS March 1 sailing, and we took the trek and cave tubing through RCI. they put us on the second tender off the ship, and we were the first bus group to arrive at jaguar paw. They take you for a small hike through the forest to do the zip line first, then feed you some lunch near the site. After lunch, you pick up your tube, life vest and headlamp and hike for 20 minutes or so to put in above the cave system.

 

They will take you in groups of 8 through the caves linked together, and then let you float freely after exiting the caves. They got you back to the tender pier with a little over an hour before the last tender left for the ship, so it gives you a little time to shop or have a beer after the excursion. We were satisfied with the tour through RCI and picked it mainly because of the length of the tour and we figured RCI wouldn't leave a group behind on a tour they push.
