? about taking wine onboard

New Carnival cruiser here.......I understand that my husband and I can each take on one bottle of wine for our upcoming cruise. My question is do we pack it in checked luggage or can we carry it on?

BOTH! That is, you each carry one on and you each pack one away. ;D

I've had two "box-o" wines in my carry on and no one said a word. Have fun! Bill.

Also, you can replenish your supply at the ports. You can each carry one back on then. We weren't sure if it was allowed, but we asked security on our way out and they said it was OK. We did it twice--all they did was ask if it was alcohol, we said it was wine and they waved us thru.:D This was just last week, we were on the Freedom.

Thanks to all for the valuable info. It is only a 3-night cruise, but 4 bottles will be real handy. I'm sure we will still have quite a bar bill;)
