long4theocean Posted March 6, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2009 Can anyone tell me if there are any theme nights on the Liberty? Do they still do the toga party and also do they still sell the horses for the horse race by the pool. Thanks
DivineDivia Posted March 6, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2009 I think there is an 80s party night. I heard that they stopped doing the horse thing. I can report back once we return.

kicker Posted March 6, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2009 From what I understand the horse racing is an option, up to the CD staff, but very seldom done these days. Theme nights seem to have gone by the wayside also: 2 yrs ago I asked RCI for a list of performers on our cruise; along with the performers they sent a list of theme nights (Caribbean, Western, etc.) - I bought a God-awful looking Western shirt to wear that night (something I'd never wear any place else!), and they never had the theme night! One other note: a very nice young couple we met on board told us someone had invited them to a "Private Toga Party" in their cabin - they politely declined! cb at sea Posted March 6, 2009 #6 Share Posted March 6, 2009 Folks don't "dress for the theme"--it's more to designate the menu than for anything else!
