Need to lose before I cruise... any buddies??

Hey, don't call me a loser. I am a winner. haha.

 

But congrats on the numbers going down.

 

You'd think I'd learn my lesson and not get you mad at me by calling you names.

it was a good week for us agian. ive been running alittle on the treadmill along with my regular workouts. I also took a bodypump class at he gym which about killed me. we're getting really excited about the cruise.

 

sorry no measurements.

 

I have no doubt that you both will meet and exceed yourcruise goals.

I have a favor to ask ......can I come live with you and Nikki so I can follow your lead.? pleeeaaasssse.

You have alot to be excited about .....you not only are going on a cruise half the size you were, but you get to go with a beautiful slim lady. You both deserve to have the best time ever.

Vickey - please put me at the same weight for this week. The lack of exercise is really hurting my progress. I had a little bit of a blip with my eating/non eating motivation last week but I seem to be over it. Oh well, this time next week I will have a brand new knee!

Hello everybody!

 

Looks like a beautiful day today! So my goal this week is to lose as much weight as my body possibly can cause on Friday its weigh in for my biggest loser contest at work! So I have to hit the gym, do my workout video and jog everyday!

 

My weight as of this morning is...... 172 so I lost one pound! It doesn't bug me that I didn't lose more then one pound cause I know I didn't do enough this week to see more then that. I think i shouldn't even lost weight so I'm happy!

 

Hope everybody sees the numbers they want!!!

I will keep my positive thoughts going your way so you win the contest.

Make sure you drink lots of water that will help.

Oh I forgot I had a question. Where is your waist at? Is it the smallest place on your stomach?

It is usually where your belly button is (or in my case WAS).

But I like to measure below my belly button, because that is where my weight has settled.

My day has gone pretty good.

Went to Y and did treadmill for 60 minutes and did my strength training workout.

Breakfast: oats and 2 egg whites(boiled)

Snacked on raw veggies (red/green peppers,celery,baby carrots,and cucumbers)

Lunch: 4 ounce foiled pkg of albacore tuna

salad with Waldenfarms raspberry dressing.

Dinner: plan on eating a roasted deli chicken, baked potato and green beans

 

 

I did slip up and did some sampling of cheeses when I went to grocery store.....DARN those samples I had them in my mouth before I knew what was happening.....it's one of those old habits that I will have to quit.

 

 

 

I will post the weights and measurements when everyone has them in:)

My current weight is 129.2!! (no tape measure thus no measurements but my clothes are looser.)

 

Good thing I weighed myself this morning because after what I ate for dinner... not so sure the scale would be kind to me. (penne pasta w/ garlic chicken, feta, grape tomatoes, fresh basil, red onion, and avocado - all tossed with a little olive oil.) Honestly, I didn't really care that this wouldn't help me in my weight loss goals. :p

 

I hope all is well with my fellow losers!

I need someone to remind me to get my measurements. I will never remember.

 

I actually weighed myself this morning, just to see if anything changed. I was actually at 197.8, but will keep the 198.6 that i had posted yesterday. That was the weight yesterday for the weigh in and the loss today is probably just water weight.

I am still waiting on a few more weights to come in.

But it looks as if it's been a good week.

 

 

I tried to make my own humus last night and it really wasn't that bad.

I took a can of chick peas(gabonzo beans),1/4 cup of plain yogurt,garlic powder, a little onion , a dash of lemon juice and put it in the food processor. I then made a salsa of tomato-onion-cucumber-carrots-green&red peppers and put a layer of the humus on a pita bread then layered it with the veggie salsa it was yummy.

I had this instead of the chicken and baked potato.

 

I went to Y this morning and did my cardio....60 minutes treadmill(watched the rest of the movie Bride Wars on my Zune) it makes the time go by faster.

 

I am going to a Mother's Day Tea this afternoon with one of my patients and I hope I am a good girl.:D

Let's just say that I didn't need seconds since firsts were more than enough! :eek: Oh, and did I mention the slice of angel food cake that I had as well? The treadmill will be my friend today.

Hummus just reminds me of that episode of Friends (where no one's ready) where Joey is eating hummus and it gets flung onto Pheobe.

 

yeah, thanks for reminding me. Lets see if i can remember tonight when i get home. I am thinking that I will be pretty much the same. I know that I have been wearing 34 pants in some brands. But I never wear them at the waist.

Wow! As one of the new kids on the block I'm super impressed with what everyone has accomplished here. It kinda makes me feel like my miniscule goal is just … uh err … miniscule. Congratulations to those that have already made big strides towards their goal. And I love Jon’s statement “thinking i may be under my goal wieght by the july 5 cruise”, love that attitude. That’s my new goal – not just meeting my goal, but surpassing it. Great work everyone!:)

Yeah, way to go on the 2 pound loss. I am hoping to get to my goal. going from 220 to 200 was easy.. now the hard part is 200 to 190 and then 190 to 180.

 

My ideal goal is to get to 170, but no set time for that goal.

If I reach my goal of 135lbs, I will have become as thin as when I was a teen and doing a lot of artistic gymnastic. I am not that big, I guess that is why getting the scale to go down is a little harder... Nevertheless, I most do my workout. Moving with ease is such a priviledge, no one should take it for granted. I would like to go on the island of Dominika to do a lot of trekking and visit the falls. Eventually, I would love to do some scuba diving too.

 

This morning, I did my abs routine and some work for my pectorals. Best way to shape up my chest :o Now, I will go do my stair routine.

 

Did I ever thank you guys for being here?? The motivation I get when I read your messages helps me a lot. I didn't really feel like doing the stairs, but coming here just gave me that kick in the you know what that I needed.

Wow! A lot of love and gratitude on this thread today - how awesome is that!

 

My day was going great until I left a conference and one of my customers handed me a bag of candy bars. She couldn't take them back to her office and she thought that since I have kids I could share..... well, they made it to my house alright - just minus one Baby Ruth. They were calling to me, telling me how wonderful they would be to just have one!! :D

 

To compensate for that little errrr...moment of weakness, I went on the treadmill for an hour. Dinner was very light - just a lite salad and some cottage cheese. (Breakfast was oatmeal and a banana, lunch was a turkey sandwich, pita chips, and an orange.)

 

Vickey: Everyone's combined results are amazing to see. Everyone is working so hard for their goals.

GOOD MORNING LOSERS

 

I am so proud of everyone this week, everyone has made changes in their lifestyle. Either with diet or exercise and that makes you a winner.

 

I am ready to go see patients today and have my lunch packed and ready to go.

Breakfast: oats and boiled egg whites

Snack: (planned and packed) banana

Lunch planed and packed) salad with 3 oz. lean deli ham,1 oz. feta cheese and 1/4 cup of fiber one cereal (use this instead of coutons) 8 oz. v-8 juice.

Dinner: ( planned and in crock pot ready for when I come home) cabbage-onion-potato and will have it with a garden burger.

 

 

Here's hoping everyone has a great day.
