tipping on the destiny

How does the tipping work on board is it at the begining or the end or daily only asking as we dont want to offend

Tips are included in your holiday price. Page 11 of the Thomsons Dec. 2008 brochure.

If you wanted to tip inidvidual staff extra for good service it's up to you.

but we tipped our waiter etc on the last night

We always tip on the last night. our wine waiter , food waiter, cabin steward, some of our bar waiters but in the lounge where the show is we give token tip on the first night and find we usually get served pretty quickly when it is really busy and let them know wel will give a tip at the end of our holiday. It works for us.:rolleyes:

WE took some thank you cards with us and on the last day put some dollars in them and handed them out to our waiters, wine waiter, cabin steward and a barman

Hi, with Thomson your tips are built in, but we have always tipped the waiters on the last night and always leave money for the room assistance on the last evening.

 

Never been on the Destiny before but can't wait :)
