Which one is better?

Hi everyone - am having a difficult time deciding, so for those of you that have stayed in each , which hotel is better, Hotel 1898 or Le Meridien? We will be there at the end of Nov.

need to know which city you are talking about...there are Le Meridiens all over the place!

If the price were the same (for similar rooms), I would stay at Hotel 1898. It is not that there is anything wrong with Le Meridien, but it is a Le Meridien. Hotel 1898 has more character (whatever that means)
