Luggage valet vs. U.S. Direct

What is the difference between these?

 

We arrive in Vancouver in May from our Alaska cruise and want the easiest way to deal with our luggage and customs.

 

Do these require RC transfers?

 

Any info on these programs and which is most preferred is appreciated!!

Assuming you are talking about at the end of your cruise, US Direct is the service that allows you to bypass Canadian immigration at the pier and US immigration at the airport.

 

To use it, you must use cruiseline transfers and you must sign up for the luggage valet service once onboard the ship.
