Solarium question

Is there a charge to use that area? Last year on our HAL cruise there was a $15 per day charge to go in their solarium.

It isn't like the HAL spa area. The RC Solarium is a regular swimming pool, I believe, that just can be covered or uncovered. The HAL special area is more spa type of area with special kind of pool and spa ammenities. So no, there isn't a fee.

No charge. Solarium area is just a separate pool and hottubs, reserved for adults only. There are cushioned lounge chairs, and it is much quieter than the main pool. Very relaxing. no kids allowed. This is not associated with the Spa in any way. The spa charges for the special facilities and services, but there is no charge to use the Spa hot tub, nor the locker rooms and showers there.

The solariums are great for days when it is a little chilly to use the outdoor pools, also great for the days if the outdoor area is overpopulated with kids, since with the exception of a day or two in alaska, the solariums are for adults only.
