Are all 1-A cabins handicapped cabins?

No. I don't believe any of them are set up for handicapped. A call to Carnival will solve that question and A 1A cabin has bunk beds.

I have stayed in one and it was handicapped accesible cabin. You will notice it at the bathroom and shower size.

There was a really cheap rate at a site we found online for our conquest cruise, we called about it and it was for a 1A. We were told it was two bunks, meaning no bed at all, basically two pullmans. We decided against it. Then carnival came out with early saver so i have a much better room for the same price.

No...Most 1A's are regular cabins. Almost all have an upper and lower bed. Some have sofa beds.

OP posted another thread, he got a 4D on Freedom, they had to go up to inside to get handicapped. ... anyway already booked now.
