Missus Makkem Posted March 19, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2009 Has no one sailed on the VOS? Yes but if you want answers go to the Roll call site, lots of info on Vision there
Parkay Posted March 19, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2009 Vision of the Seas had been home ported in Los Angeles doing the Mexican Riviera cruises up until Mariner took her place recently. You may not find too many people who have done this itinerary yet on Vision.
Loyal2RCCL Posted March 19, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2009 Having sailed on Vision 8 times, I can tell you the ship is in excellent shape. Also the crew is one of the friendliest at sea. I haven't done the SDQ itins yet, but I wouldn't hesitate to sail Vision again.
JJ2sail Posted March 19, 2009 #6 Share Posted March 19, 2009 We took one of the last cruises on Vision out of L.A. Great ship, crew, and service! Loved the Solarium.
Sanlj Posted March 19, 2009 #7 Share Posted March 19, 2009 The earlier post is correct; you'll find lots of information on the Vision of the Seas Roll Call Forum. We came back a few weeks ago from this itinerary and loved the week. We're used to the larger ships, but found Vision elegant and classy - not as many family attractions, yet plenty to see and do. It was a far more relaxing atmosphere. Check out the Roll Call Forums for lots of different viewpoints, but our group of 6 middle-agers enjoyed every minute and every port (even with some rain thrown in!) Gecko7 Posted March 19, 2009 Author #8 Share Posted March 19, 2009 Thanks you for the responses. I'm trying to get DW to buy into this sailing.
kwokpot Posted March 20, 2009 #9 Share Posted March 20, 2009 I have sailed sister ship Legend OTS, and within the spa/gym area is the Mens changing facilities which included a Steam & Sauna Room. Is it the same setup on the Vision?
