What time should I be at the POM for 4pm departure?

My husband, 3 year old daughter, and I will be cruising out of Miami next month on Carnival Pride. I've read different threads on what time we should be at the POM, but the majority are 10:30AM-11:00AM for a 4PM departure. We would like to get on the ship ASAP and would like to beat the crowds. Is this a good time to arrive? Too early or too late? Thanks in advance! :)

Anytime after 11AM would work out great for an early check-in and embarkation for you and your family. This way your little one won't be really exhausted, can have lunch when the crowds are less in the buffet area and then if needed, you will be able to put your child down for a rest if necessary before the Life Boat drill and Sail away.

Bon Voyage
