julieschu Posted March 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2009 My husband, 3 year old daughter, and I will be cruising out of Miami next month on Carnival Pride. I've read different threads on what time we should be at the POM, but the majority are 10:30AM-11:00AM for a 4PM departure. We would like to get on the ship ASAP and would like to beat the crowds. Is this a good time to arrive? Too early or too late? Thanks in advance! :)
Nanatravel Posted March 24, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2009 Anytime after 11AM would work out great for an early check-in and embarkation for you and your family. This way your little one won't be really exhausted, can have lunch when the crowds are less in the buffet area and then if needed, you will be able to put your child down for a rest if necessary before the Life Boat drill and Sail away. Bon Voyage Nanatravel
gracie65 Posted March 24, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2009 We always get there about 10:30.
JohninDC Posted March 24, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 24, 2009 We arrived at POM last week at 11:30 and were eating lunch on the Lido deck before noon. Anytime between 11:00 and noon should be fine for you - good luck!:)
graysladymurphy Posted March 24, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 24, 2009 Do you have to have special priveledges like a past guest, suite guest, etc. to board that early? 10:30? That seems really early.
