Browngirl-1 Posted March 26, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2009 Hello gang I'm sailing for the first time on the Carnival Liberty (Oct 31,09) We have cabin 6344. Since reading the boards I've come to know that the standard balcony on CCL is smaller than the standard balcony on RCCL. While there is time is it better to get another type. I welcome your opinions.;)

caribbeanboy Posted March 26, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2009 a bit off topic, if you have two balconies can you ask them to take away the divider? (Carnival Freedom)
kjunea Posted March 26, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2009 a bit off topic, if you have two balconies can you ask them to take away the divider? (Carnival Freedom) They don't take it away. They open it between the 2 cabins, but I think it blocks some of the airflow when they do that. I've had a regular balcony and it was fine. Two chairs and a small table. If you want a lounger, you might want to look at an aft or wrap balcony.
caribbeanboy Posted March 26, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 26, 2009 Thanks, if they open it that should be fine, so you can go for one cabin to the other thru the balcony.
