Dolphin encounter with infant?

If you reserve the program directly with them you may bring your infant along. Has anyone done this? I think my 15 month old daughter would love it!

You can bring your child along but they will not be allowed in the water during the encounter. The child will have to sit up on the benches with someone to watch them. I think children have to be at least 7 or 8 years old to participate.

Really?? It says that infant are aloud into the water during the dolphin encounter as long as they are with a parent. I will call them today to find out. I also read some reviews on here of some moms that took there 2 year old along..

I have been told by Dolphin Encounters that I can take my 20 month old into the water. So you should not have a problem.

we took my son a few years ago and it was not a problem... i suppose it could have changed.

We did Dolphin Encounters years ago and the kids are still talking about it. Youngest was 4 yrs at the time and too young for the program the older kids did with DH. We watched them in the one program and then I held DD age 4 for the other one - in the water. It was great! Now that we're going to be there again, DD (now age 11) has reminded me she never got to actually "swim" with the dolphins! :rolleyes:
