Can men wear sandals???

Hi Guys,

 

We are going on our first cruise in April with the Famous Ventura!!!

 

and would love some advice on what my hubby can wear, We want to know if on some of the casual nights can he wear smart linen pants with a smart shirt and trendy sandals? or is that a no no!!?

I'm ok with it. My DH wears sandals but I make sure his feet look good. I've seen some womens feet in sandals that I wish they would have kept them covered.

Absolutely fine. My husband wears either a nice pair of leather sandals or a slip on shoe similar to a topsider, no socks on casual nights.

 

He would draw the line at a pair of flip flops and only wear those at the pool or on shore. Those would be fine in the dining room for breakfast or lunch, though.

I agree with Happy K's, an elegant pair of leather sandals are fine for the dining room with nice pants.

 

But sandals like flip flops, or those velcro strappy things are strictly for daytime/poolside.

 

Make sure his feet are well groomed with a pedicure. Polish optional. :)

My husband has a gorgeous pair of leather fisherman's sandals (with a leather sole, not a thick rubber sole) and he wears them with "country club" casual all the time. Very appropriate for casual dinner on a cruise ship

its just fine- Just please dont wear socks with them. Then as my kids say you will be a shoebee.

I don't think you'll have a problem with that at all, as long as it's not flip flops or something, as mentioned earlier. My husband wouldn't wear that, but I think it'd look just fine for someone that can pull it off!:)
