Rare Cruise Junky Posted March 28, 2009 #27 Share Posted March 28, 2009 My wife begs to differ with you!!! :D Too funny!! If you're not cruising during spring break, you might get a way with it. You're probably safer packing a six pack amongst the pop.
somebeachsomewhere Posted March 28, 2009 Author #28 Share Posted March 28, 2009 Unfortunately I am, IOS next Saturday. But I'd rather take a chance and lose rather than nothing at all. I do worry about the screeners taking my luggage hostage, and not getting it until we reach our first port of call. Not worried enough to give it a shot though. Moooah! Coralc Posted March 28, 2009 #29 Share Posted March 28, 2009 I was considering buying a case of pop, disguarding the pop, adding a case of Miller Lite and resealing the case. I haven't heard of any cruise lines that confiscate pop. How does that sound for a crafty little "smuggling" move. Cans? That might work. :) I drink bottled beer only. Best of luck, I agree that the cost is exorbitant. :)

Carefully open the box from one end, take out all the soda cans, and replace with beer EXCEPT for the two cans you see on the top of the box where you push in the flap to carry it. Glue the end of the box together and voila! Boy I wish I liked beer, or that they sold Mike's Hard Lime in cans!
