Goff's Caye vs. Sergeant's Caye snorkeling?

We have snorkeled at Goff's Caye before and are returning to Belize in May on the Carnival Legend. We are trying to decide whether to go back to Goff's Caye or try Sergeant's Caye this time. Has anyone been to both places? If so, how does the snorkeling compare? We enjoyed snorkeling from the beach at Goff's Caye. Does Sergeant's Caye have snorkeling from the beach like at Goff's, or is the snorkeling from the boat? If so, how was the depth and visibility? We enjoy taking underwater photos while snorkeling and it is always better if the water is shallow. Any info would be most appreciated.
