TorontoTL Posted April 2, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2009 No you don't, there are free saunas and steam rooms in each of the change rooms in the Lotus Spa. Enjoy, these are free on all the Princess ships that I have been on.

regnig Posted April 2, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2009 As you enter the Lotus Spa area stop at the desk and trade in your stateroom card for a locker key and a robe. In the changing room themselves there are lots of big white towels and the showers are stocked with body wash, shampoo & conditioner. When on the Emerald in March both the steam & sauna rooms were pumped up to the proper tempertures. They were great-- enjoy!
momphoto Posted April 2, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 2, 2009 Yes we did this on our recent Ruby cruise. Don't think many people know they are free as we were always the only ones using them, which worked out great for us!!
Bubba037798 Posted April 6, 2009 #6 Share Posted April 6, 2009 The did charge for the steam rooms on Coral Princess. A little disappointed!
footlooseFF Posted April 8, 2009 #7 Share Posted April 8, 2009 On the Emerald Princess in March, the towels were located in the restroom area, just below the sinks. There was no charge to use the sauna/steam room or showers.
