We were just there (Emerald Princess) on March 14th and had a blast. The locals said the water was lower than usual, but everything was just fine. No one had to walk their tube. It was white water in places where we went down the rapids. The water was just fine, refreshing and fun. My one regret? That I didn't take a disposable water camera. They discourage you from taking ANYTHING with you, but a water camera around my wrist would have been fine. We have no pictures from this tour. Go have fun, don't worry!

What do you do with your towels and cruise cards, etc?

We were told to leave everything on the bus, even our towels. The bus driver stayed with the bus. When we finished tubing we went directly to the bus and got our stuff. We had no problems. Again, my biggest regret was not taking a disposable water camera. We tubed where they filmed Pirates of the Caribbean, II. I hope you have as much fun as we did!

The water was just fine. We enjoyed over an hour going down the river. There were some parts where people got stuck, but there were about 5 guides who got them free pretty quick. There were usually 2 routes that could be taken, depending on how the flow of river took you. One was usually deeper than the other. At one point we took a 15 minute break on a rocky shore. I am 6'3" and I was not close to touching the bottom so there are deep parts of the river. It was an excursiuon I will never forget...
