Just back from Carnival Inspiration

We just returned from 5 days on the Inspiration and will post a review later, but if anyone has questions about the ship I'll try and answer them if I can.

Sorry but no chocolate buffet onboard. As for the music, the poolside was pretty good (typical calypso music) and the piano player in the atrium was also good. Went to the sing-along in Rhapsody in Blue one night but didn't stay long (this guy was sad). We did go to all the shows and thought the production shows were really good.

Who is the CD?

Do they have an adult area? Pool? Hottub? If they do normally all are together. If so, where is this located?

The Cruise Director is Skip Lyons and he said he has been onboard for 3 months. He is very good and seems to enjoy his job.

There is a small adult only area at the rear of the ship on the Promenade deck (deck 9) called Serenity. There are 2 hot tubs and maybe room enough for 30 or so lounge chairs. The hot tubs weren't usually very crowded but we could never find an open lounger. There isn't a adults only pool:(

We were on the Inspiration in December and it's good to hear that they have a new cruise director. The one we had was a major cheese ball.

Yeah I knew about the Serenity but I was really hoping for an adult pool. :(
