ashtravel Posted December 3, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2004 I need one-way shuttle service from the FL cruise port to the FL airport for 7 people in June. Does anyone know of good shuttle service rather than using the cruise line transfers?
VaCruzers Posted December 3, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2004 I haven't tried them yet, but have a reservation with floridalimo.com for our upcomming trip for a towncar. I note that that have a van service as well. You can get an online quote. I have read several favorable reviews, but, again, don't have personal experience. Good luck! Folgy Posted December 3, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 3, 2004 I need one-way shuttle service from the FL cruise port to the FL airport for 7 people in June. Does anyone know of good shuttle service rather than using the cruise line transfers? I would check with the Shuttle that your Hotel is prefering. We stayed at Pier 66 and had no problem from airport to hotel/hotel to ship . We found the couple of bucks we spent was worth more than the transfers(more expedient)
ritarussell Posted December 3, 2004 #4 Share Posted December 3, 2004 We are just off of the Enchantment this morning. There are TONS of cabs available at the pier and the airport is only 5 minutes away. I'm sure you could get a better deal using one the these cabs than using RCI's transportation, plus you won't have to wait. We used Ace Tours for 14 of us, but we were traveling to Miami Airport. They were right there as soon as we got off, you could look into using them if you feel more comfortable having something already in place. ashtravel Posted December 3, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted December 3, 2004 Thank you, Ritarussell. I did get a quote from AceTours and they quoted me $65 for 7 people. I appreciate your remail to my post.
springtxbill Posted December 3, 2004 #6 Share Posted December 3, 2004 For just a transfer within FLL, I would just get 2 cabs, on of which may need to be a van to accomadate all of the luggage.
TheWog Posted December 3, 2004 #7 Share Posted December 3, 2004 http://www.bcsexpress.com/index.html He charges a flat rate for his vans. Give him a call and see what he can do.
Ocean Boy Posted December 3, 2004 #8 Share Posted December 3, 2004 Defintely go the cab route. It is a very sort ride and I think it is something like $12.00 per cab (not per person). Even if it is a bit more it won't be anywhere close to $65.00.
