h2o711 Posted April 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2009 Traveling with 3 small children 2,6,&8 in June to AK. How dark are the cabins (baclony Baja) when the sun is up 18 hours a day? Do the curtains keep the cabin dark enough? or should I bring something to tape on the windows? Thanks
cherylandtk Posted April 15, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2009 There are two sets of curtains, much like most hotels. One set of sheers and another heavy set of blackout suitable curtains. You need not worry about being able to make the room dark.
Colo Cruiser Posted April 15, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 15, 2009 During daylight you will find that light still gets in the room so making it pitch black is not possible. :)
sharpie13 Posted April 15, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2009 Just a thought, but if you really want it dark during the day, you could book an inside cabin.
Pam in CA Posted April 15, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 15, 2009 The "black-out" curtains work pretty well. Bring a couple of clips to hold the curtains together and they'll be dark enough. :)
