Adventure of the Seas Photos

Recommended Posts

I finally got up to speed on posting photos online. I hope you enjoy our Adventure of the Seas photos from September 2003.

Check out my photos: http://community.webshots.com/user/rascalious

P.S. I am still working on the captions and will have them done soon. I am sorry, but I had to delete all the great topless photos from Orient Beach. I also tried to protect the identity of strangers, so some of those were left out.

Looks like we will go again - before you. I will try to update the photos in September 2004. I left out all the pre-cruise Caribe Hilton Photos for lack of space. If anyone wants those I will have to create a new album.

I am glad to finally be able to share these memories of our cruise. I spent some time registering at webshots.com and uploading these photos. That was something I had been putting off for way too long.

Wow, some great pix!! (LOL, I call the pix I take from the bow the "King of the World" pictures too.) We have more than a year till our AoS cruise, and I'm eagerly devouring every picture of her I can find. You'd think since I've been on 2 Voyager class ships (Mariner and Explorer) that I wouldn't need to look at a sister ship...but I do! icon_biggrin.gif With your permission, I'd like to forward the link to our friends who are travelling with us but don't read cruisecritic (silly people).

It was nice seeing the pix from the ports too, as that's the same itinerary we're doing. Do you mind a couple questions?

Did you book the 4 x 4 safari in Aruba through the ship or on your own?

How was De Palm Island?

What was the name of the beach in Curacao?

How did you like the Caribe Hilton?

Sorry to be so nosy... icon_smile.gif Thanks!

Chris

Great photos! I'd like to see the Caribe Hilton photos too if you get a chance! We are doing Adventure in 2006. It will be my 4th Voyager-class trip, but each one is just as exciting as the one before!

Some of the best AOS photos I have seen so far. I am going to E-mail the link to the other 36 people in our group going on her July 11. And if you have photos of the Caribe Hilton, please post them. We are staying there for two days preceding the cruise.

Thanks for posting the photos. I am looking to do this ship next April or May. I really like the itinerary. Four very nice islands.

Wow, just saw all the questions and request for more photos. I will have to respond tonight as I am late for work.

P.S. - The wedding chapel is on the ship above the Viking Crown Lounge - Deck 15

Photos are in my public folder, so they are available for all to see. Curacao Beach was part of the Beach Break Excursion - I don't know the name of it. De Palm Island was good, second half of the Off-road tour. We booked all excursions online through RCI. I will work on the Caribe photos tonight.

Family of 14: You are welcome! I think I have the same situation with the Caribe Hilton photos. I have lots of photos of the hotel exterior and grounds, but no room photos. I am working on it tonight.

Dear Rascalious,

We are booked also in the same cabin you were in. Could you please tell me if there were any service elevators in the near location and if so should I be concerned about noise coming from them? We had a bad experience on our last cruise with this issue and don't want to make the same mistake. Thank you in advance.

Cabin 9318 is convenient to the passenger elevators. You will be isolated enough that you will not hear any noise from them. Others, such as Family of 14, can back me up on this.

The Caribe Hilton Photos are posted. I am sorry, but I don't have room photos. We were alright with ours. Some have posted that their rooms showed signs of age. We were not expecting a lavish room for our $65 Priceline accomodation, but is was more than worth the price. It is also the closest hotel to the Pan American pier. The Wyndham Condado is very close, also. That is where we are booked next September. I couldn't turn down the $80 per night we got on one of their occasional 72 hour sales.
