dazza Posted April 21, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2009 Does anyone know who p & o use on there flights from manchester to barbados, we are on a one way flight and cruise back to southampton. Also are they keen on the 23kgs you are allowed for luggage, we have only ever cruised with p & o sister line princess and have always flown schedule airlines with ba or american, which airline have they been using from manchester and what time do they normally fly out and arrive at the ship? BrianI Posted April 21, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2009 P&O use mainly Thomsonfly and sometimes Thomas Cook. Future carriers will not have been assigned yet and I suppose it depends on contracts being agreed. We have just been to Barbados on Thomsonfly and the seat pitch has been increased since we flew three years ago so kneeroom is no longer a problem. Luggage allowance is 23kg hold plus 5kg hand luggage. Flights leave UK in the morning, generally between 9am and 11am arriving in Barbados in the afternoon. In Barbados you disembark the aircraft straight into a fleet of small buses and you are taken to the ship without having to go through immigration or wait for your luggage. It takes around 45mins on the bus. Your luggage is delivered to your cabin later. Brian
