Beach Wedding in Cozumel - HELP!

We were married Friday in our hometown, but wish to have a simple symbolic ceremony on the beach in Cozumel.

Has anyone ever been married in Cozumel? Who assisted you with the planning? Any suggestions as far as locations, etc.? It will be just be the two of us - no attendants or guests.

 

So far, we have heard that Nachi Cocom is a nice beach, but don't know where to start with the planning or who to trust. We do not have an interest in a ceremony on the ship, but rather a sunset beach setting.

 

We sail on the Carnival Imagination on 12/16, so we are under a time constraint.

Others on this board have recommended Stephanie a Cozumel wedding planner. Her website is http://www.cozumelweddingplanner.com/ I've never used her or known someone who has, but at least this will give you somone to start with. I agree you are under a time constraint. I hope you can arrange a wonderful ceremony....it sounds like a special dream!

I got married (for real) in July 2003 at Nachi Cocum with the bartenders as witnesses...LOL! It's a perfect place and everyone enjoys watching from their seats............you'll get a rousing round of applause afterwards, too. :P

I can't recalla our wedding planner's name for the life of me, but cosumelinsider.com is a great place to llok as they have a specific link to weddings during cruiseship stops. Check it out like the previous poster advised. :)
