Transfers FCO - Civitavecchia

Recommended Posts

Best transfers airport to dock, Not cheapest but , reliable, comfortable and easy to deal with. Civitavecchia company or Rome company ???

I think that you will find that a majority (if not all) are Rome based.

I recommend Rome Cabs. They are extremely dependable & their Mercedes sedans are very comfortable. You can e-mail the owner, Stefano at romecabs@yahoo.com. He will promptly reply with a quote. He will also furnish you with his cell phonee # so you can contact him in case your plane is running behind schedule or any other issues that you need to speak to him about. You might also like to look at their website, romecabs.com

We also had a great experience with RomeCabs. Airport to hotel and next day hotel to port. Prompt, reliable and very personable.

We will be using them again this Fall.

We have always used Domenico from Roma Shuttle Airport and will be using his services again this year. Check out the website at http://www.romashuttleairport.it If you email Domenico will get back to you immediately with a quote. This company is very reliable and reasonable. Please mention that you read about his services on Cruise Critic and that Gail highly recommended his services.

Rome Cabs also has Mercedes vans, if your group is larger than a sedan will hold.

6 of us from our roll call shared the transfer, at 30 EUR pp in Oct '08.

Not only was the van nice & roomy for the six of us and our luggage, but the driver called the hotel in the morning to confirm our 11:30 pick-up. We were staying at 3 different hotels near the Vatican, and it was really nice to know that the transfer was in place. It was pouring rain, and the driver took care of the luggage for us. By the time we reached Civitavecchia, the rain had stopped, the driver transferred our luggage to the porter.

A very good experience with Rome Cab.
