harbor_light Posted April 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2009 I need information on booking airfare one way from Ontario California to Vancouver. Dose anyone know of a direct fight? Or the quickest way to get there?
Ephraim Posted April 26, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2009 Non-stop, you have quite a choice from LAX but nothing from ONT. Alaska (codeshared with NorthWest or American Airlines) and Air Canada (codeshared with United) both fly non-stop from LAX. Otherwise you are going to need a connection somewhere if you want to leave from ONT.
vegasnine Posted April 27, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2009 You can fly from LAX or San Francisco or San Diego direct to Vancouver on WestJet.
Ephraim Posted April 27, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2009 Currently Westjet flies via Calgary from those three cities. The only direct flight on Westjet from California to Vancouver is from Palm Springs. And service on many of these routes are seasonal.

WestJet flies direct to Vancouver from SFO now. We just used them for the first time, and it is a wonderful airline. No fees for checking two pieces of luggage. :D We will definitely use them again the next time we're headed to Vancouver.

Also to add, from G4/Allegiant Air also fly non-stop from OAK, SAN, LGB and LAX to the BLI/Bellingham WA airport; about 15 miles south of the border. And; SFO-YYJ/Victoria is also available 2x/daily on United Express

BCHappyGal Posted October 10, 2010 #9 Share Posted October 10, 2010 I would check out Allegiant Air into Bellingham probably your cheapest option provided they have flights on the day you want them.... Bellingham is just south of the Border and Vancouver. There is an airporter shuttle bus that will bring you from Bellingham airport to Vancouver - it is called Quick Coach http://www.quickcoach.com
