tm5to1 Posted April 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2009 My fiance and I are spending our honeymoon on the Freedom of the Seas next month. We're in a Superior Oceanview room sandwiched among all the Grand and Junior Suites on deck 10. I've never stayed this high up on a ship. Is there anything I need to be aware of being this high? More sway?
lady_cruiser Posted April 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2009 My sister and I cruise together and we love the higher decks. You "might" feel a little more movement but it never bothered us. Congrats on your up-coming wedding.
cb at sea Posted April 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2009 That's a great location. Being only 1 floor beneath the pool, spa and WJ makes for very easy running back and forth to the cabin. It's really nice when you can use the stairs for most daily trips. Now, if you were low-down, on deck 2 or 3, you'd almost HAVE to use the elevators--that's alot of flights to climb! Enjoy! debshomespun Posted April 29, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2009 You will be much closer to the Lido deck, and all the FOOD! LOL! Congratulations on the wedding. You will LOVE the Freedom!
yogimax Posted April 29, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 29, 2009 You might find it more difficult to breathe because of the altitude!
sotuffexecutive Posted April 29, 2009 #6 Share Posted April 29, 2009 I LOVE the higher decks on any ship. The view ....especially at night or while in port is good. My husband and I love the gentle swaying we feel at night. Puts us right to sleep.
