Fuel Charge?

I'm sorry I have not been on this board in a while..so..if this has been brought up recently..please forgive.

 

I just booked Liberty of the Seas for Sept 26. I noticed AFTER I received my confirmation via email that there's a $140 fuel charge.

 

Are they starting to charge for fuel again?

We booked a cruise for Feb 2010 and there are no fuel charges, yet. You might want to call RCL and see what is going on then come back and let us know.

When you click, it basically states that they can increase it if the cost of a barrel of fuel exceeds $65. Currently, it is around $50.
