texlatin1 Posted May 2, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2009 So would we. We just loved him! He just made our last cruise. I will really miss him on our next cruise out of Galveston! Eric is not with RCCL anymore. He left the Voyager on 3-22-09. Mike Sta (goodness I'm not even going to TRY to spell his name for fear I'd tear it to shreds) is not the new CD. He is remarkably funny and has a fantastic show called "Fountains" which some may have already seen! Totally hysterical!!!

We missed it live, but it played on tv for days, totally LMAO the first time we saw it from start to finish.
cruisedirector38 Posted July 28, 2011 #8 Share Posted July 28, 2011 Little late finding this thread but Eric is very happy back at Holland America Line. He has been there for approximately three years now after being terminated by RCCL. To clear up that rumor there was no hot tub or women involved (unfortunately). He was dared by a guests to jump into the main pool early one evening while wearing a full suit. He followed through on the dare to the delight of those around. While it was funny at the time this bit of attention landed him an alcohol test which he failed. He was over the .08 BAC level which resulted in his termination. He was treated very well by the folks at RCCL and enjoyed his three years there. Eric now is back with HAL where he was for nearly 10 years before leaving to go to RCCL. Eric is extremely happy to be back as part of the HAL family.
