flowerboy Posted May 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Why does the Victoria not have any quad rooms. Do they not want children on this cruise?
Rare Colin_Cameron Posted May 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2009 The Queen Victoria does have quad rooms, and triples. The very early brochures show them. However, shortly before the maiden voyage they discovered that there were not enough seats in the dining rooms for the additional passengers. :confused:Oops!:o Regards, Colin. They could allow a maximum number of "extra" guests (3rd and 4th per stateroom) and still show some quad rooms IMHO.

To make room for those triples & quads they could lower the price for solo travellers.:D
Rare Colin_Cameron Posted May 5, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 5, 2009 To make room for those triples & quads they could lower the price for solo travellers.:D It was suggested at the time that for every cabin they sold as a single they could sell one as a triple. The argument against it, as I remember, was that if the solo traveller subsequently cancelled they had almost no chance of re-selling the cabin again as a single. May or may-not be true, but I think that's how the argument went. Regards, Colin.
