rednblackstar Posted May 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2009 okay, this may be a dumb question...i know there are a hundred of things to do to past the time, but if we are interested in helping that effort by bringing board game(s) on board, is that allowed or is it frowned upon? probably not like chutes & ladders, but maybe spinner dominoes, trivial pursuit... thanks. Hi There are a few board games provided on tables (when sat at these you've got fantastic views of the waves rushing past) in the passageways to either side of the Royal Court Theatre on deck 2 forward (port and starboard) but if you want to bring your own, why not? Great idea, it's your voyage, your vacation, enjoy yourself.

I have to say there ate more than a few board games there though, there are lot of them, game galore and jig saws, but to sit and watch the ocean is best, and a touch of scabble maybe.:)
Rare Host Sharon Posted May 5, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Within the law (and possibly aircraft weight limits if flying), you can more or less bring what you like on board. Personally I only bring an MP3 player, but some people bring laptops, DVD players, DVDs..........Whatever you feel you can't live without really. AstroExeter Posted May 7, 2009 #15 Share Posted May 7, 2009 We enjoyed our few games of scrabble after leaving the planetarium shows. Sitting in a nice quiet area, watching the sea go by whilst being hustled by my wife was a pleasant experience! :)
