help for on board credit

Hi all, i am getting 440.00 on board credit on my trip on the splender leaving the 17th...what can i use it for????is it good for the final tip? shopping? drinks?...i really dont know, could someone who is sure help me?.....thanks..... elaine:confused:

Did they say if it was a refundable obc or not? If it's refundable then you don't have to worry about using it all up. If it's not (or even if it is) then you can use it for any shop onboard, supper club (if splendor has it) and casino. You can also use for all the drinks or wine you want and for you daily pp tips. You can use it for bingo if you want also. I'd say you can use it for everything but I'm not 100% sure. You can use it in the spa also. You'll be surprised how fast you can eat up 440 in obc when you try. We had almost 800 in OBC on our first cruise. We were told it was refundable before we left only to be told on the next to last day that it wasn't. We "chewed up" the remaining 500 or so in a few hours so we didn't lose it. DW had a blast shopping and I had a blast in the casino. LOL

Your on board credit will be used for the tips. They automatically take tips out of the on board credit acct. Then after that, the remaining balance will be used for everything on the ship. You cannot spend cash on the ship, with the exception being in the casino. You will use it for your drinks,shopping,pictures,specialty food items that they might charge for(coffee,icecream ect..)

You can also use it for excursions booked through Carnival once you are board.

You can use OBC for anything you would normally use your S & S card for.
