jmhlaw Posted May 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2009 In my Princess brochure it says that carry on luggage should not exceed 4 inches in width on the Princess Rail cars. It also says pack everything you need for that day because you might not get your luggage immediately after arrival. Is this really all of the room there is? What kind of carry on bag is that small and how am I supposed to fit everything for that day in to it.?
Lookingforfacts Posted May 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2009 A tote bag. You're looking for enough room for a jacket/sweater, camera, binoculars, sunglasses, book etc.

Budget Queen Posted May 7, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 7, 2009 Think an airline seat, that is your space for storage- which is under your seat. You may be able to squeeze a small item between two people, but not if the people are especially large. You also can place a small item on the table. I am planning on bringing a medium sized backpack with my gear. I travel with it often and it fits under the seat of a plane (enve the small regional jets) with no problem so I'm hoping it will Ok for the trains.
