What to wear on a winter cruise

Recommended Posts

We leave on the pacific Sun in 2 weeks and I've just started packing. Will it be warm enough to swim and wear shorts or should I just stick with winter clothes.

When you leave Brisbane it will be cool, and the last two days prior to arriving in Auckland will be cool to very cool. In Noumea, Isle of Pines and Mystery Island it will be warm to very warm. I'm not sure where you are from because your post doesn't show it. I would have shorts (summer clothes) for the five days in the middle of the cruise. It will be warm enough to swim at Isle of Pines and Mystery Island. :):)

Anywhere inside of the ship you will be comfortable no matter what the latitude, light jumper at most. Everywhere else, in the tropics shorts etc. no problem...Auckland is same latitude as Sydney, south in NZ even in summer can get quite cool.

Where are you going?

What about tropical QLD from the 25th May, Is it still warm enough to swim on the boat.

By the way is the pools heated?

Not on the first day out of Brisbane and on the last day - not for me anyway. In Far North Queensland it will be lovely, better than the middle of summer when it is too humid. :):)
