tracyw123 Posted May 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2009 We leave on the pacific Sun in 2 weeks and I've just started packing. Will it be warm enough to swim and wear shorts or should I just stick with winter clothes.

Will it be warm enough to swim and wear shorts or should I just stick with winter clothes. When you leave Brisbane it will be cool, and the last two days prior to arriving in Auckland will be cool to very cool. In Noumea, Isle of Pines and Mystery Island it will be warm to very warm. I'm not sure where you are from because your post doesn't show it. I would have shorts (summer clothes) for the five days in the middle of the cruise. It will be warm enough to swim at Isle of Pines and Mystery Island. :):) Evon.
Kiwi_cruiser Posted May 11, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 11, 2009 Also make sure you bring some warm clothes for when you get to Auckland, as its cooler here, then their I think. Today it’s meant to be 15°C, but it fells cooler then that.
rugbypopsie Posted May 11, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 11, 2009 Anywhere inside of the ship you will be comfortable no matter what the latitude, light jumper at most. Everywhere else, in the tropics shorts etc. no problem...Auckland is same latitude as Sydney, south in NZ even in summer can get quite cool. Where are you going? Not on the first day out of Brisbane and on the last day - not for me anyway. In Far North Queensland it will be lovely, better than the middle of summer when it is too humid. :):) Evon. LouLou28 Posted May 11, 2009 #7 Share Posted May 11, 2009 By the way is the pools heated? No the pools aren't heated - they are filled up with sea water.
