CHIEB2812 Posted May 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2009 Sorry, we haven't stayed there, but I do recall the way it was situated when we passed. We stayed at the Embassy Suites which I'm sure is close in price, they also provide a full American Breakfast in the morning complimentary, and let them know your cruising and would like a view of the port. We watched the ship coming in, and got to see some really neat storms off in the distance the night before. Just in case the Holiday Inn doesn't work out:D
kc320 Posted May 11, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 11, 2009 We've stayed there a couple times & will be staying again in Oct. For a clean comfortable 1 night stay before a cruise it's fine. They have a nice pool area, breakfast in the morning. There is a grocery store & other shops across the street if you need any last minute items. They also have a free shuttle to the port if you want to leave your car.. they charge $10 a day for parking.. also a free shuttle to/from the airport if you are flying in..they have menus for several resturants that deliver if you don't feel like going out for dinner... tazdeb Posted May 11, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 11, 2009 Also if you walk about 5 min to the intercoastal you can take the water taxi and see the ships in port and the million dollar homes. All in all, its a nice holiday innn.
