Anyone use a sound machine?

Baby sleeps with fan noise at home-light sleeper. So thinking I might need some background noise on the cruise.

I would like one that stays on until you turn it off-no timer things-always hated those dang timers! Bouncy seat had one and never failed when it quit vibrating - he would wake up!!!-from his nap.

Geez- do you ever feel like if you write something about your kids/parenting habits- you have to defend them? Geez- maybe it's just me-or maybe I read too many of these posts:D

Anyway- need a good sound machine -today! Supposed to leave Thurs.

That is unless Carnival is going to lend me a fan for the week- and I don't see that happening.
