OBXandCruisin Posted December 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2004 I have pretty much decided on Goff Caye for my cruise stop in Belize. I understand that it has a restaurant and Bar on the little island. Do I have to book an excursion there or can I just take a water taxi back and forth? Any info on this little island would be great!!! Bob
PelicanBill Posted December 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 9, 2004 There's at least 2 recent threads on Goff's in this section... the short of it all is there is usually drink for sale, sometimes food, not really a restaurant though... A little shade depending on who is reporting. There is no shuttle though... you must book this as a tour from your ship as far as I have found. Not many tour operators going to Goffs (they tend to go the Shark Ray Alley and then a lunch stop at Caye Caulker or San Pedro.) Some report Belize Rays or another do it but I can't find confirmed info at a web site anywhere.
dmoseley Posted December 9, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 9, 2004 I have found two tour companies that go to Goff's Caye. Belize rays (belizerays.com) and belize sea/land tours (belizesealandtours.com). We went with sea/land tours last Jan. and loved it. However, I have not been able to contact them recently.
