Honolulu on the ms Amsterdam

Our cruise from Sydney, Australia, this fall, arrives in Honolulu on Thanksgiving! Will anything be open that day? The last time we were there, two years ago, we rented a car and had a wonderful drive to the north shore. Will rental cars be available? The usual shore excursions are listed, by HAL. On such a family holiday, I'm surprised. :confused:

Being that Hawaii is USA I would guess that everything will be open there.

As for car rental my suggestion to you is to pull up the company you are going to use and put in the dates, if it gives you availability then they will be open.

My guess is that there open 365 days a year.
