3rd adult in cabin - Sail & Sign

My cousin is traveling with her sister on our upcoming Carnival Valor cruise, and we're just wondering if there is a way to have two different sail and sign accounts for one cabin.

Yes.

 

Each passenger is assigned a unique folio number. You may link each folio to a specific credit card or (or other alternate method of funding). You can accomplish this at check-in.

Chances are that both of their tickets will be in one packet. There will only be one S&S application. Tell them to make a photo copy of it for one of them, then they can have all the necessary papers filled out before they get to the check in line. We did this with our sons who shared a cabin.

The answer to your question is yes, all you do is one person fill out the form in the documents and sign it, the other person when you get to the counter to check in just simply say they need there own sail and sign account they will be given another form to fill out with there name and CC number to sign. thus 2 seperate accounts. we do it when we take my FIL and they are so used to it they dont even bat an eye.

The people in line behind them will be much happier if they make a photo copy of it and have it all filled out prior to entering the line. They do exceot photo copies of the form.

Isn't a photocopy pretty flimsy, since it needs to be used for a boarding pass? And do you make a 2-sided one, for the card imprint?

 

This will be our first Carnival cruise, so we don't know the ropes, but on other lines we've sailed, our room-key cards also served as our charge cards and boarding passes. At least they were a little easier to keep track of, being hard plastic. The Carnival system seems pretty lame.

You can use a photocopy, much easier... your S&S application is different from your boarding pass. Once you had over the application, you won't see it again. On some ships your S&S card is your key as well, on some your key is different from your S&S card. Your S&S card is what you need to get on and off the ship, they will give you this card when you check in...
