pre cruise in Ft Lauderdale

Recommended Posts

Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina (Formerly Marriott Marina & Fort Lauderdale Grande) is right across the street from the cruise terminal at the 17th Street Bridge on the intracoastal.

I am on their mailing list and just got sent an email with specials of $99 a night which is fantastic for the hotel. It underwent a multi-million dollar renovation about a year ago.

Highly recommended.

LQ on 26th has always been our favorite (doing it again later this month). Free shuttle to/from FLL, and to the pier (return on your own) Free car parking also.

Agree. Either the FLL Hilton or the Hyatt Pier 66. Both are across from the port and are great hotels.

Same question, only which ones have good gyms?;)

That is always my highest priority.:o I won't stay at any hotel without a gym.

Im sure they all have some sort of facilities but not so sure about the Holiday Inn Express. I'm sure you can easily research that yourself.

Here is the Hilton Marina

Nearby tree-lined paths for jogging and biking, with onsite bike rental available(2.8 miles)

How do you get there from the air port? Do they have a shuttle?

Thanks. :)

Hi Edziu,

I missed your post of a year or so ago. My husband does have family in New York and pretty much anyone with that last name is related. In searching the posts I see you were on Liberty of the Seas in Aug 08. We were on the 8-30-08 sailing - just missed each other. My husband loves looking up information on family so if you read this post please send me an e-mail to dpuszcz at gmail dot com I'm sure he would love to hear about extended family. We are actually flying in to La Guardia in October for a cruise on Celebrity
