BehrHunter Posted May 16, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 16, 2009 Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina (Formerly Marriott Marina & Fort Lauderdale Grande) is right across the street from the cruise terminal at the 17th Street Bridge on the intracoastal. I am on their mailing list and just got sent an email with specials of $99 a night which is fantastic for the hotel. It underwent a multi-million dollar renovation about a year ago. Highly recommended.
Hal from Ohio Posted May 16, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 16, 2009 Holiday Inn Express on 17th Street. Free 24 hour shuttle from FLL to hotel. Good breakfast, nice rooms, friendly staff, close to Walgreens and many good restaurants.
prc Posted May 16, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 16, 2009 LQ on 26th has always been our favorite (doing it again later this month). Free shuttle to/from FLL, and to the pier (return on your own) Free car parking also.

Both are across from the port and are great hotels. http://www.luxuryresorts.com/Properties/properties.cfm?intPropertyId=26 http://www.luxuryresorts.com/Properties/properties.cfm?intPropertyId=

Im sure they all have some sort of facilities but not so sure about the Holiday Inn Express. I'm sure you can easily research that yourself. Jimbo Posted May 17, 2009 #14 Share Posted May 17, 2009 How far from Fort Lauderdale to Port C? Closest airport to Port C is Orlando. You will be wanting to fly into Orlando(MCO) for Freedom of the Seas, not (FLL) Jimbo:)
dmpuszcz Posted June 13, 2009 #15 Share Posted June 13, 2009 Hi Edziu, I missed your post of a year or so ago. My husband does have family in New York and pretty much anyone with that last name is related. In searching the posts I see you were on Liberty of the Seas in Aug 08. We were on the 8-30-08 sailing - just missed each other. My husband loves looking up information on family so if you read this post please send me an e-mail to dpuszcz at gmail dot com I'm sure he would love to hear about extended family. We are actually flying in to La Guardia in October for a cruise on Celebrity
