I agree, its financially counter productive to make the drinks too strong. A good "kick start" is what is intended. No worries, same thing with him. My point was, that even Friends of Bill and other recovering alcoholics don't get all grave-faced and somber when it comes to drinking. My father's never once given me the hairy eye ball when I've staggered home (except when I was underage). He doesn't reel off a constant lecture on the evils of demon rum. Yeah, it's a serious disease, but there is also a line behind stupid drunken behavior and serious alcoholic behavior.

It entails getting dressed, usually a jacket is suggested, and having cocktails with h'douveres. Then the Cruise Director will ask who was on this ship then will run down the list of Carnival ships. I've also heard "Conflagration" and "Consternation" in place of "Constipation".
