Hi We will be going on the Triuph in August. Our kids will be in cabin#1304, an inside...all 3 of them:eek:. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone was in this cabin or one like it. I did a search but nothing turned up. I asked Carnival if that cabin had a pull out sofa or bunk from the wall but they couldn't give me an answer. Does anyone have any info. I would really appreciate it:)

You should be able to find that on the deck plan on Carnival's website. It will have a legend you can look at to see whether it has a bunk or sofa. My guess is a bunk. I just checked the deck plan and it is a bunk. They call it an upper. It should pull down from the wall and can be folded up during the day.

Thanks a lot:), it has a bunk. Boy, you'd thing the Carnival Rep would have known:rolleyes: Would you happen to know if it comes down from the ceiling or just on the wall?

I am pretty sure on the Destiny/Triumph class they come out of the ceiling. I know on the Spirit class and newer they come out of the ceiling. On the Holiday and Fantasy class they are just on the wall.

I just noticed you sailed on the Zaandam in April. We took our daughters on a spring break cruise on the same ship after they added the teen area to the ship. I can't remember the year, 2004 or 2005. We really liked the ship. It never seemed crowded.

Yeah, we liked the ship too, it was a quiet relaxing cruise, my wife, her dad and our 3 kids. The only thing about that cruise is there were many many older people onboard (I have the wheel chair scar on my foot to prove it)

It must have been 2005 for us and it was spring break, there were a lot of large family groups. I would say we had more 30, 40 and 50's onboard. The teen area was really nice. They had a small pool, palm trees, hammocks, we wanted to hang up there. I agree that it was relaxing. There wasn't a lot of people out late on the ship. We had the most fun in the casino.
