Pool and Hot Tubs on Spirit to Alaska

Are the pools and hot tubs open on Alaska Cruises? Do many people us of them? I am wondering because it can be cold and windy in Alaska. We are cruising in September 2009. Thanks.

I can't really answer your question, but we were recently on the Spirit and one of the main pool areas has a sliding cover, so at least that pool and hot tubs will be in use I'm sure.

We have done the Spirit twice to Alaska (both in July). The pool that can be covered was and was open every day. The aft hot tubs were filled and used except for one really cold day (30's).
