UAcruiser Posted May 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2009 We will be arriving in Copenhagen at 9:35 AM for a cruise leaving at 5:00. Does anyone know if Royal Caribbean allows you to send your luggage to the ship on their transfer bus if you're not on board? Any suggestions as to the best way to deal with luggage? eh2zed Posted May 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2009 By the time you get through Danish Customs, and take a cab to the pier, it will be at least 11. By that time you could certainly drop off your bags and have the cabbie take you downtown. If you are at the Langeline pier you could also hop on the HOHO bus. jkw3tx Posted May 25, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 25, 2009 There are also left luggage and lockers available in the terminals at the airport- but that would require returning to the airport. JKW

Does anyone know if Royal Caribbean allows you to send your luggage to the ship on their transfer bus if you're not on board? Any suggestions as to the best way to deal with luggage? Greetings to the UA Cruiser from Central Ohio. I'm living nearby in Clintonville. Check with Royal Caribbean. When we departed Dover, England, they had lots of room for early check-in of the luggage. Don't know how their set-up will be on that bus and/or at that dock in Copenhagen. Most of the problem/challenge for them is on the boat, cleaning up from the last cruise and getting ready during the day for the next group. ASK!!! Or, have your travel agent push them on your need. In most cases, they should be able to come up with a solution to help you and work to allow time to enjoy this wonderful city with so many charming sites and sights. SEEING COPENHAGEN? Lots of great things in this see in this great city. Check out these two CC board postings for more Copenhagen info and pictures: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=975779 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=982876 Keep asking the questions on these boards. THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio
