The only limitation is the x-ray machine that all hand luggage has to go through. This is the same size as those at the airport where your hand luggage has to go through. I think you would have a problem if it was the normal full-size suitcase.

Do you need to carry a large suitcase as carry on due to a medical reason? (etc, to carry medical equipment).

 

If so, you may be able to arrange something with P&O if you give them a call.

 

If you are just asking in general, I dont think they would allow it.

yes you can there would be no reson why you could not carry on a suit case for medical, if you put it though as normal laggage it is most likly to get demaged.
